PROGRAM
Discover day by day program of Yoga retreat on Brac island with Alison
Day 1 — ARRIVAL + OPENING CIRCLE
Welcome to Croatia!
On our first day, we’ll start with a group transfer from Supetar ferry port directly to our villa.
After settling into your rooms and relaxing, join us for the opening circle and welcome stretch.
To end the day, we’ll enjoy a delightful dinner on the villa’s porch.
Day 2 — YOGA + LEISURE + RESTORATIVE YOGA
We begin the day with classical yoga session, led by Alsion, who offers variations of postures suitable for all levels.
After yoga, our in-house chef, Karolina, will treat us to a delicious brunch.
The afternoon is for relaxation and leisure—enjoy a soothing massage, unwind by the pool, take a swim, explore nearby villages, or simply immerse yourself in a good book while soaking in the villa’s serene atmosphere.
Before dinner, we’ll gather for a restorative yoga session.
Conclude the day with a beautiful sunset dinner.
Day 3 — YOGA + HIKING VIDOVA GORA + AGROTOURISM
Start your morning with a yoga, followed by a delightful brunch.
In the afternoon, embark on a gentle hike (approx. 2.5 hours) to Mt. Vidova Gora, the highest peak among Croatian islands, where you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Golden Cape, and the islands of Hvar and Vis.
Afterward, we will visit a traditional Dalmatian village and explore a family-owned agrotourism site. This twelfth-generation family resides in a Venetian castle, a cultural heritage site with unique Art Nouveau interiors. Enjoy a tour of the house for a glimpse into noble life in late 19th-century Dalmatia. Conclude with a meal of homemade dishes on a baroque terrace overlooking the valley, sea, and mountains.
Return to the villa for a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra class, followed by dinner.
Day 4 — YOGA + LEISURE+ WORDS & MUSIC
Our morning routine remains the same—yoga and brunch.
In the afternoon, take time to relax: stroll through olive groves to Sutivan, unwind at the villa, or indulge in a soothing massage.
Before dinner, join us for a heartfelt Words & Music session.
We’ll conclude the day with a delightful dinner overlooking the sea.
Day 5 — YOGA + ISLAND HOPPING HVAR & PAKLENI ISLANDS
Repetition is the mother of knowledge! After our Yoga session with Alison and brunch, we will embark on a boat trip towards the majestic Hvar and the Pakleni islands.
Firstly we’ll visit Hvar, a location with charming Venetian architecture, numerous monasteries, the famous fortress ‘Spanjola’, and excellent bars and restaurants.
The second pitstop is the Hvar archipelago — Pakleni islands. Here we will have time to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and refreshing in beach bar.
The dinner will be served in the villa once we arrive back.
Day 6 — YOGA + OLIVE OIL TASTING + RELAXING YOGA
Begin your day with a gentle yoga session, followed by a leisurely brunch on the villa’s porch.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Skrip, the island of Brac’s oldest village. Our first stop is the Museum of the Island of Brac, where you’ll discover fascinating local history. Next, we’ll explore the Museum of Olive Oil, learn about traditional olive oil production, and savor a tasting of local products.
In the evening, unwind with a relaxing yoga session, then enjoy a delightful homemade dinner.
Day 7 — RETURN HOME or...
After our closing circle and brunch, you’ll feel rejuvenated and recharged, ready to return to the real world.
We will escort you to Supetar, from where you can decide; or to stay to live in Croatia or to go back to your home.
VILLA
Villa Gumonca is a luxury beachfront villa in the peaceful village Mirca, near Supetar, the central town of Brac island.
Villa’s surroundings offer a breathtaking view of the sea and the mainland as well as of the fragrant eco gardens with direct access to a small pebble beach. The path leading to the beach passes between a small vineyard and a garden featuring organic fruits, vegetables, and various Mediterranean herbs.
The outdoor seaside area features a large veranda on stone pillars that shades a dining table, a wooden pool deck area with sunbeds, a jacuzzi and heated infinity swimming pool.
The villa can accommodate up to 13 guests and consists of a 4 bedroom main house and 2 bedroom annex. On the main house’s ground floor are 3 bedrooms with suite bathrooms, each with its small terrace. On the first floor is a master bedroom which can accommodate up to 3 people. It has a big bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi bathtub for two. The guest annex and the main house are next to each other and connected with porches and terraces. The annex consists of 2 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an additional gourmet kitchen.
The shared space is a spacious living room with a TV set and fireplace, a dining area, and a long kitchen/bar island.
Villa Gumonca is an award-winning house and place of true well-being!
FOOD
Our food is prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients purchased from local farmers because we love to support the local economy.
You’ll enjoy two main meals and snacks, all thoughtfully crafted by our in-house chef. Our menu is primarily vegetarian and vegan, with gluten-free options available.
And, to keep you refreshed throughout the day, we offer coffee, tea, fruits, and snacks.
LOCATION
Brač is a Mediterranean island famous for its cultural heritage, deeply indented coves, smooth stone pebble beaches, crystal clear sea, and rustic Mediterranean villages.
This unique Adriatic island is bestowed with Croatian symbols such as Vidova Gora — one of the most beautiful viewpoints and the highest peak on the Adriatic coast.
Another treasure is the Golden Cape — a natural white pebbled beach formation that sticks out of the sea like a tongue. Lonely Planet listed it in the first place of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia.
These remarkable natural properties and the islands’ relaxed vibe make Brač a top-rated destination for windsurfers, sports lovers, and adventure seekers.
Our retreat base is located outside of the tourist rush in peaceful village Mirca — slow-paced and a perfect place for enjoying sublime scenery and scents of Mediterranean herbs and pine trees.
